Jessica Alba Sin City 2 Green Screen

Sin City 2 was your typical sequel. Can you believe that there was almost a 10 year gap before the first debut and the second cash grab? The film is primarily based on the first, third, and fourth books in Miller’s original comic series. The Hard Goodbye is about a man who embarks on a brutal rampage in search of his one-time sweetheart’s killer, killing anyone, even the police, that gets in his way of finding and killing her murderer. Whereas the intro and outro of the film are based on the short story “The Customer is Always Right”, which is collected in Booze, Broads & Bullets, the sixth book in the comic series. Nevertheless didn’t pack the same punch. Rotten Tomatoes gave it 44% where the audience score was 51%.

So why this post? Where are you looking at this? Well, personally I found these green screen shots to be hypnotic. They are so raw and Jessica Alba still looks amazing. Remember I said there was a ten year break between movies and this chick still has a pretty rocking body. Alba is 34 in April, which is not old, well maybe Hollywood old, but I was just blow away that she would look so great pre-touchup special effects. Alba is mom of two kids.

Eva Green Sin City Poster Reddit Project

Eva Green Sin City Poster
In one day, subscribers of the Movie section of Reddit recreated an unused Movie Poster of the highly anticipated sequel to Sin City. Over a dozen wallpapers were created from this image. Fans took something that was used as a promotional item and made custom desktops. In the eyes of a marketing team, Reddit just did someone a huge favor by building hype for a Movie that hasn’t really had a large marketing push. This front page trending image topped Reddit with over 2,000 comments. As a result, Eva Green was trending on Google for May 30th as one of the most talked about news stories.

Breaking Bad Boxset: True Fans Step Up

breaking-bad-say-my-name
Has it been long enough? Are you over the fact that one of TV’s best shows is over? I’m sure not.

I’ll admit I have found other entertaining TV shows such as True Detective or the Wire, but deep down I know there will never be another show that will replace Breaking Bad. I think one of the main reasons why it was so great, was the fact there was a clear vision from day one. The writers knew that there was no way to drag the show out for years on end, and the fact that their fanbase wouldn’t stand for that. Having closure is such a powerful aspect to a great TV series. Nobody wants to watch Lost again, mainly because it was a massive let down. The build was excellent but the ending was proof the writers we’re making it up on the go. Breaking Bad didn’t do that. They respected their viewership and ended a great story with class.

The Dark Knight Trilogy Blue-ray

The Dark Knight Trilogy
People are all about streaming (or burning) movies these days. Blockbuster video is a thing of the past, and in a way, so is buying movies. I for one used to buy previously viewed DVDs all the time. I even bought movies before watching them as sometimes it was cheaper to buy than a movie that it was to rent it. Things have definitely changed, but even in the days of Netflix and downloading movies, I still like collecting box sets of my most favorite movie franchises.

The Dark Knight trilogy is by far one of the most epic movie franchises in the last 10 years. Usually box sets can run from anywhere from $50 to $100, that is why I found the dark Knight trilogy to be one of the best value pickups 2013.

Gemma Arterton Sexy as Hell

Gemma Arterton in my opinion, is one of those talented sexy young actresses that is in everything, and yet you don’t know her name. With such an impressive long list blockbuster movies, you’d think that Gemma Arterton would be more of a household name. Nevertheless, her latest movie Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters opposite Jeremy Renner looks to have a cheese-factor ranking of: “You got a be kidding me” -But I still want to see it.
